Hi,
I really and really like this project. It seems to be what I need
to develop code in Linux.
However, maybe you lack the function to add remote folder
coz my project has a lot of folders and sub folders. If it has
this feature, it will surely be my DREAM.

Thanks once again for your wonderful project.

    Hi,

I agree this feature could be very nice.

If you could select a top level folder and automatically
have all the files in subfolders added.

Just arrivet to tracker to add the same request.
BVRDE seems like a great tool, but lack of importing remote
directories make it so hard to use on any larger project
where directories are anyway nicely setup.

    Best wishes for BVRDE!

the project file, if I remember is xml.

I tried this tool out months ago ... and I wasn't about to
add the files one-by-one, which I seem to remember having to
do ... or directory-by-directory, whatever it was.

I ended up writing a c++ program in about an hour or two
that recursed the directory structure and wrote out a nice
xml project file. I dropped the project file into the right
location, in place of the one that was there (or cut-n-paste
the file/directory list into the right place in the file --
I can't remember which) ... closed the program, openned it
back up ... and it correctly knew about all the files.

I ended up not using the program, anyway. For one thing, I
had so many files that the object browser list was longer
than what you could scroll to. I couldn't see all the
objects. Nice tool, though. I often check back for new
    progress.

If no one is assigned to this, I thought I might tackle it.

I'd like to support this request. Currently, the only practical use of BVRDE is with the projects having files in a small set of folders / single folder. A lot of projects I worked on and seen elsewhere have enormous amount of files, and folders (directories). For example, applications that compiles executable and also into several libraries may have a directory per each library source. Currently the only reasonable way I was able to create this kind of project is to populate project file manually (it's quite understandable XML) with existing folder structure. However, I then had to go into each folder and import all files into it. My project has about 60 libraries and about 20000 files - so it's kind of took a long time to do.

Therefore, it would be really useful to have something like import folder and something like import source tree - the latter will re-create folders and directories structure in a project.

I would like to request this feature too.
