This could really be useful as an IDE for local projects if paired up with mingw. It would knock Dev-C++ out of the water.

  I already have this as a Feature Request. It is low priority at the moment as I still need to work on getting the remote compilation (and original BVRDE purpose) stable. Still, eventually doing a copy'n'paste of the code doesn't seem to be a big problem...
