Hi, I'm having a problem compiling Buzztard from CVS (2007-12-11). This happens with the bml sources, so I'm stuck there and can't keep going. The errors are as follows: --8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<--- cc1plus: warnings being treated as errors MachineInterface.h:179: warning: 'class CMICallbacks' has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor MachineInterface.h:267: warning: 'class CLibInterface' has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor MachineInterface.h:332: warning: 'class CMachineDataInput' has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor MachineInterface.h:349: warning: 'class CMachineDataOutput' has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor MachineInterface.h:422: warning: 'class CMachineInterfaceEx' has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor make[3]: *** [libbuzzmachineloader_la-BuzzMDKHelper.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/victor/inst/sources/buzztard/bml/src/BuzzMachineLoader' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/victor/inst/sources/buzztard/bml/src' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/victor/inst/sources/buzztard/bml' make: *** [all] Error 2 --8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<-----8<--- Now, I see on the first line that the compiler is treating warnings as errors, and I recon this 'paranoid mode' is helpful for you guys when you do the developing :) Could I get away with telling gcc to ignore warnings and continue, or would it mean having problems while using buzztard? If it's OK to have gcc ignore the warnings, how would I go about doing that? I understand it involves editing the Makefile and I've located the gcc params line, but I don't know what I should add there. I've looked in the gcc documentation, but I can't find it...
