[Burp-users] Burp stopped working: No locks available

Hi,

I've been running burp quite successful for some time now. Unfortunately
all of a sudden it stopped working. There were no changes in the
configuration or burp version on both client and server. The error I'm
getting is this:

If I check I can see the lockfile /backup/burp/lucy/lockfile. If I
remove it and try a backup again I see that it gets created, so far as I
can tell that rules out a rights issue. Also I checked, the backup
directory still has plenty of space left. 

Any help in solving this issue is greatly appreciated.
