Thank you very much for your opinions, I'm more inclined to try version 
2 now.

Concerning Ansible, maybe it's my misunderstanding, but it seems hardly 
useful for managing random clients scattered on the net (which is my 
case) since it needs some way to actively establish connections to 
managed systems. Burp server, by way of contrast, accepts remote 
connections, not makes them.
