I see the code tries to run g_pVSSClient->InitializeForBackup() before checking the drive letters to snapshot, so in your case, setting the drive letters doesn't help. The code is in src/client/cvss.c. You could try bypassing that code completely and rebuilding the Windows client to see if you can get further. Or you could ask me to do the change, test it, and put it in a future version, but I probably won't get around to it for a while. See this page for a more detailed explanation: http://burp.grke.org/requests.html " > > I don't know what he want to do about it Graham's answer sounds pretty clear to me. It looks like the client has a little issue with disabling the VSS snapshot but Graham does not have the time right now to look into it. So in order to dig the issue, you can either try to fix it by your own, sponsor the development of a fix or just wait for someone to fix it for you. These are the most important words from the http://burp.grke.org/requests.html page: « Burp is open and free software. Some assume that this means that I will spend my time working for them, and that I will do it for free. This is not the case. [...] the spare time that I use to work on burp is actually very limited. I am a dad, I have non-burp paid work, I am in a rock band, and I sometimes like to eat or sleep. » There is no company behind burp. People (mostly Graham) work on it in their spare-time. I'd love to spend more time working on burp (and burp-ui) and I'm pretty sure Graham feels the same for burp, but we just can't. We all have to deal with it. |
