Most financial packages have the ability to automatically categorize incoming transactions. Typically, during an import, the user can check a box so that all future transactions matching all or part of the description are categorized the same way. For example, my "Kroger" purchases are usually groceries; I can override the code for the few pharmacy purchases I make. Similarly, "Bob Evans" is "Entertainment Restaurant", and "Regal Cinemas" falls into "Entertainment".

I can see that this would be useful, but this is more of a feature for import plugins. Core Buddi does not include any import functionality. When entering transactions manually, Buddi already remembers the description, and associated to / from sources and amount.

Moving this to Plugin requests; I think this would be an excellent feature for the CSV (or potentially QIF) import.
