I'm a relatively new user, and I really like this program. I have browsed the existing messages, and I don't find this topic discussed.
I am most of the way through my first month, and when I display and "income and expense by Category for the month," the actual column shows all my budget categories accurately, but the total at the bottom doesn't reflect the difference of income and expenses. For example, there is about $5000 income and about $2000 expenses, but the total shows a negative $700. (I suspect user error, but I can't figure out where.)
I have a separate question about one of the pie chart reports, but I will post that separately.
Thanks,
Steve
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Can you email me a screenshot of the report, and perhaps the data file? It sounds like something is mis-entered, but it is impossible to troubleshoot without looking at the actual data. You can send it to the email address found on http://buddi.digitalcave.ca/contact.jsp (I don't post my address here to try to avoid spam).
Cheers
