I have enjoyed Buddi for awhile now. But I'm still running v. 3.4.1.10 because my computer does not seem to allow newer versions. Past updates were simply unable to be loaded after I upgraded to Mavericks and the most recent update received today says it cannot open since it is from an unidentified developer. I am running OSX 10.9.5

This is the OS X function called "Gatekeeper", which limits applications which are not obtained through the App store. To allow a single application (Buddi) to be opened, right click and select 'Open' instead of double clicking. You will be presented with a dialog asking if you want to open it. Once you do this the first time, it will remember your choice and not ask you again.

See http://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT202491 for more details on Gatekeeper on OS X.

    Cheers
