ok this is a real problem, bt++ appears to only download the temp files to the directory to which bt++ is install regardless of what the preferences say.

Have the same problem. I want my downloads to a different disk. It haven't worked so far. All files have so far ended up in original folders even if changed in prefs. (BT++ 0.5.3)

i upgraded from 0.5.2 and the settings i had remained. You could uninstall 0.5.3, install 0.5.2, make the appropriate settings changes then upgrade to 0.5.3 as a temp solution 'til its fixed.

I am using 0.5.4. and I can not change the TMP directory...
Should I try the same thing with 0.5.2 and 0.5.4, or am I missing something?
