HI I've been using bittorrnt for a while and I just downloaded this software. The about screen says version 0.3.0 so firstly is that just a mistake because I clicked on the links for version 0.4.0?
Also what IP adress do i need to enter in the preferences because the software does nothing??

yes, the version 0.3.0 is a mistake and secondly if you'd been using torrents for a while, you wouldn't be asking about ips because you'd know you need to download a .torrent file, then place it in the incoming directory and let bt++ work it's magic. The IP section is only used if you need to connect to a proxy.

Usually you don't enter anything there, just leave it empty. It is meant for people with more than one NIC and/or IP, that want to bind BT/BT++ to a specified IP.
