I'd also like to add that just because you want to carry on uploading on old torrents, it would still be nice if it would start downloading from a new torrent :) This way windows seeders could leave it running and a .torrent could be uploaded to their ftp start downloading, while previous torrents they seed are still uploading :) Good Work guys, looking forward to a new release very much.

The current version does auto start a new torrent. But it would be nice if removing a torrent from the torrent directory stops the download/uploading. That would also be great for remotely maintaing torrent seeds via ftp.

I'm looking forward to the next release too. The fact that BT++ does not continue auto-uploading once the download has finished really bugs me and goes against much of what BitTorrent is all about - the easy distribution of bandwidth among all BT users downloading a particular torrent.
I'm going to stop preaching now because the problem is being addressed, but I cannot advocate the use of BT++ on my BT community site (http://www.filesoup.com) until this is fixed. I do love a lot of the features you have and see a lot of promise for BT++ being the BT client of the future.

"This is planned for the next release."
haha, keeping the file open is the only way bittorrent survives
....any idea when the next release will come out?

can we just specify which file to seed, rather than be restricted to a set directory structure?
ie i have all my eps in there own folders across 2 drives.. so be nice to go, 1 from here, 2 from there, another from overthere etc.. :)

I'm also against the automatic upload stopping after a file was sent. I knew that this feature would come someday and everyone wants it. but it would do much harm to the bt-comunity. I prefer to stop the finished files myself and seed some more.
But bt++ is really a nice tool. I like all the other features except this one. I'm looking forward to the next release.

Is there a way to keep the uploads going even after the download completes? For those of us that want to continue contributing to the torrent?
and make sure that it lives a long live and doesn't become leecher central
