Downloads Remain "Paused" - Can't download!

    Hi,

I was using the official BT client before so BT++ sounded like a very nice improvement.
I've created the dirs, dumped my torrents in there (and also some temp files) and everything seems to be going ok (torrents are being hashed and partial files are also found and processed) but my downloads just won't start/resume. They just keep saying "Paused" in the main display. When I click "Resume", nothing happens.

The partial files where made by the old-school client but I've also tried it from scratch (clicking the URL in my browser).
All goes well but the dang downloads just won't start!!

    Anyone with a tip??!

PS: I decided to register while I was here :)
I also forgot to mention that I'm using the latest (0.5.3) release.

      Hi again :)

I think I've solved my own problem already, but I'll post my solution here for future reference.

As I am using a hardware router to share my internet connection I entered my external IP in the appropriate box in BitTorrent++ Preferences menu. I also changed the ports range to fit my existing port mappings. This setup apparently didn't work so I started changing the settings.

After I removed my IP from the box (and just left it empty as in default setup) all went well and my downloads finally started!! I guess this IP box thingy isn't working like it's supposed to!
      Again, using v0.5.3

They really need to fix this as it seems a big problem for me not being able to bind it to an ip.

The IP box works correctly, but you have to make sure you put the correct IP there, especially if you have a dynamic IP. For me it works correctly. Just remember that with a dynamic IP you may have a different IP at every connection.
