when opening up the GUI window from the system traw in XP, the basic window comes up as a competely grey box, and it can take a full minute or more before anything appears in the box.

even if the window is already open, but behind another window, selecting it in the taskbar results in quite a nice little wait - during which time i have no idea if it's frozen or whatever.

these both happen regardless of how many or few torrents i have running.

(oh, and the torrents still freeze up at random)

This also happens on W2k with SP3. The GUI is REALLY slow, and when it's open the BT++ CPU usage raises from 15 to 95% (P3 800MHz).

I have the same problem, the strange thing is it was working smooth for the past month until like couple days ago.
Could it have anything to do with spyware? I noticed it wasn't till after I ran a spyware scan this happened, probably a coincident...

The reason for this is the slow update speeds on the Files view. Make sure you leave it on the Log view at all times, and your worries will be gone...
