The BTnut System Software is a complete rewrite of the former BTnode software package based on an Ethernut kernel (http://www.ethernut.de). This initial release contains hardware description files, drivers for serial ports, leds, memory, a bluetooth protocol stack and drivers for the Chipcon CC1000 radio on the new BTnode 3.
The BTnode is an autonomous wireless communication and computing platform based on a Bluetooth radio and a microcontroller. It serves as a demonstraton platform for research in mobile and ad hoc connected networks (MANETs) and distributed sensor networks.
On the road to the upcoming hardware rev 3 we are initially releasing the BTnode System Software 1.0 with libraries, OS and examples for the BTnode platform.
