It would be great if the e-mail notifications visually mark
changes that triggered the notification. If a field was
changed, it may be marked bold, or by color. If a
comment was added, its heading (comment posted by ...
on ...) may be marked too.

    Doesn't the "Comments and Change History" section in the
    email already do that? Whatever is listed on top is the
    reason for the email notification. (Sourceforge itself
    works the same way).

    If ShowCommentsWithHistory is turned off, the change
    history is included at the bottom of a message. Then it
    becomes difficult to catch the reason for a notification.

    The email notifications do contain the bug history with
    entries such as the following:

    changed category from "[no category]" to "something"

    The first or last entry is the one that triggered the
    notification (depending on you setting of "CommentSortOrder").

    That's not enough?
