I'm getting fairly regular hangs where the java process cannot be killed even with a kill -9. When I'm in this sate, I see the same un-killable issue even with a "cat /dev/tty.HOLUX_M-241-SPPSlave-1", i.e. the "cat" hangs and can't be killed. Dtrace is no help. The only solution is to reboot. This seems to indicate a driver/OS issue somewhere and is not the fault of this program. I'm on a Macbook Pro running 10.5.4 and am connecting via Bluetooth. Anyone else seeing this?

I had (have) this behavior on my machine too.
By chance I found out that a "cat/dev/tty.HOLUX_M-241-SPPSlave-1" (an waiting for the flow of output) prior to starting BT747 seems to prevent this problem.

There is a similar phenomenon on windows when the connection with the device is active and while being active the connection is interrupted.

With the iBlue 747 i have no problems. Looks like a special problem with the Holux M-241.
Maybe it helps to delete the Settins....pdb - located directly in the user-folder.
