#56 Log download problem on mobile phone

I have a Nokia 3120 Classic phone with BT-Q1000P Bluetooth GPS Loger. When i use bt747 mobile (0.3.68 or older ), the download log not stable. The aplication often freeze in various position when the log downloading on bluetooth. This logger with my telephone stable with anoher aplication, for example trekbuddy /bluetooth enabled map sofware/.

I try desktop version of bt747 with pc, Everything is ok, when dowloading log USB or bluetooth. The problem exists only the mobile phone version.

Unfortunately this largely depends on the phone - I have not yet found the optimum way to avoid this issue on all phones.

The difference with trekbuddy is that trekbuddy only listens to data coming from the GPS device, while BT747 also requests data from the device increasing the amount of data transferred.

You can try to reduce the chunk read ahead and the chunk size - that may help regarding the stability, but slow down the download.

Thanks your very fast reply. i try lower chunk size, for example 10. Very unstable. Download only 10% data. Now i try chunk size = 65536 and chunk read ahead = 4.This value very stable, all 4Mbyte data download succesfully. I try least 5 full download and no problem. i try set chunk read ahed to 0, i not see big difference, the download ok, speed probabily same.

The download with chunk szie 65536 and chunk read ahead 4 i think stable. But if i select "MTK logger staus" or "GPS position" or try set the logger parameter to another often freeze the application. This problem exist before manipulate cunk size, and now exist too. Any idea to solve this problems? Thanks.
