When I use bstamp_run the .tok file is not loaded into
the basic stamps memory. Instead, code that is already
on the basic stamp runs. What's going on?
I am getting the same problem.
when only the stamp is powered I get this error message.
Error: No BASIC Stamp identified!
Probably the stamp isn't connected, perhaps your stamp version isn't supported?
Try looking at the help, try 'bstamp_run -h' for more information.
When the motors are powered, they shut down for a few seconds while trying to load the new code, the error message pops up, and the motors start running their old program again.

The application is not sending the appropriate upload codes to the chipset...so it's rejecting the program you are sending. I have not had a chance to revisit this yet...I may be able to work on this after Feb. 15th....I will have lots of free time and may be to resolve the issue...I tried contacting the manufacturer on this and did not get much help...but I wasn't persistent enough...so I will try and get this fixed within the next couple of months if possible.
Thanks.

Sorry, I may have been premature in my response...I believe another developer may have been working on this issue...I am going to download the code that they submitted back in mid 2006 and see if it fixes my issue and then if it doesn't then I can maybe try and help out soon.
Thanks and I am very sorry if I caused any confusion for anyone.

Yes, I experienced the same problem also.
I have had some crisis in my family recently and have not
been able to return to the development.
I will try to followup on this and maybe get some help from
the manufacturer.
