I will end my development of the bsdsurfer project. If you want to take part in this project, you should ask the sourceforge staff. bsdsurfer will become orphaned today.

I've just commited some files to the svn repository. bsdsurfer seemed dead for some time, but I'll try to get some working program within the next month. As already said, the next release of bsdsurfer will come written in Python.

I just saw that bsdsurfer-0.0.3 shows an error concerning lib/status.sh. I wrote a small workaround for this - real patching isn't worth the trouble. You can simply download the file bsdsurfer-0.0.3.1.tar.gz - this one works.

I've released bsdsurfer 0.0.3 right now. It's the last version, which is written in Unix-Shellscript. Following releases will be made in Python.

A few days ago I've released bsdsurfer 0.0.2. The command options have change a bit. Please read the manpage, before you use the program. Additional, there's a little bug in the program. The tarif-table is not updated. Please do it yourself, using the "update" command.

Releasing a patch is not worth the work, because I will release 0.0.3 soon.

Some incident with NetBSD corrupted the filesystem of my data partition.

Data of the last five days was lost - these were large parts of bsdsurfer-0.0.2. However: These were text files and I already recovered some parts of the code from the raw partition.

Release of bsdsurfer-0.0.2 will delay...

I've released bsdsurfer-0.0.1 right now. This version runs under FreeBSD and does the job to dial in to the cheapest provider but nothing else.

bsdsurfer-0.0.2 will be released soon and it was rewritten in large parts, so please wait for 0.0.2 to ask questions.

Additional I've send a port for FreeBSD. PLEASE USE THIS. There is no makefile or install instruction in the package itself (this will change) so you won't be able, to install the program.
