BSAdv is a Joomla! component to capture activity and advancement information for Boy Scout Troops in the United States. BSAdv can be combined with other extensions to make a full-featured Unit web site. A fully-functional demo site is at BSAdv.org

BSAdv has released version 2.0, which is compatible with Joomla 3.x. Updates are implemented with the normal back-end extension update process. Your web site must be running Joomla 3.x to install this release of BSAdv.

• If your web site is running Joomla 2.x or lower, you should install BSAdv version 1.2.6
• If your web site is running Joomla 3.x or higher, you should install BSAdv version 2.0 or higher.

Note: a bug in new installs of release 1.2 keep it from finding new releases. To correct this bug, download the temporary component com_bsadvfix.zip, located in the files tab. Installing this component fixes the problem with release 1.2, allowing it to see the updates. This temporary component should then be uninstalled.
