#53 PDF un-crops when saved in Mac Preview

Hi. First of all, I love the program and use it religiously. I've ran into the problem, however, that when I open a cropped PDF in Preview and make any changes to it and save it, when I open it again the cropped area is shifted. The size of the cropped area remains the same, but the cropped area moves to the top left corner, often cutting off the content of the page. I've included a screen shot below. Any help is appreciated.
