Hello Blenta

I want to wrap up the issue about usability, that I am insisting on so vigurously :=). And I am not writing to make you hurry up. I just want to know in which direction the develepment is going in the next weeks.

Yesterday I started actually working with Yaoqiang. It's the first time, that I am not worried that my work might be unusable because of some bug. So the only issue that worries me, is a bad usability. Now I am not saying Yaoqiang is bad. Otherwise I would not use it. But my threshold on errors and weird behaviours on screen is pretty high. I develop software myself ( not as you tough) so I can take a lot.

But right now I cannot tell anybody in our company to use Yaoqiang and pay for it. Imagine who will be using Yaoqiang. Only the big bosses with responsibility . And even those people are freaking clueless when they encounter a problem with Yaoqiang or any other software. And they have no clue about BPMN either. In germany, BPMN is fairly new.

With Yaoqiang in use, as it is right now, I will get those calls. I just know it.

"Hey Robert.... something weird is happening". And I do not want to say "Well.... you have to get used to that. No this is not a bug. This just looks funny. Press here to make it look good. Yes... you cannot do this. Use the keyboard. No...this did not break your file. Trust me. Close it and open it again."

Nobody will recommend Yaoqiang when it is causing discomfort. In the end I'll will be forced to turn to another software anyways. And maybe somebody will ask me: "Hey Robert... maybe I should help you pick the right software".

No thanks... :) Not on my watch!!

So before we actually consider using Yaoqiang and pay for it, I need to know, that Yaoqiang has its focus on usability and stability. I am not talking about any extra features. I only talk about a clean, stable and usable software.

Which way will you go? What are your current priorities ??

oh... and the network traffic is another issue. Security goes a long way.

Usability is always top priority. 90% of my develepment time is spended on usability.
These two weeks I will rewrite Pool/Lane adjust logic.
