BoxenIRCu Merged With Nefarious IRCu

For a while now there has been no work on Boxen IRCu mostly due to the fact ive been busy working on Nefarious IRCu. Most features from Boxen IRCu have been merged into Nefarious IRCu (http://sourceforge.net/projects/evilnet). I highly reccomend you use Nefarious IRCu which is currently only avaliable via CVS. If there are any other features which you believe should be brought over contact me at sirvulcan@users.sourceforge.net or on irc (see at bottom of news post). I will keep the BoxenIRCu project page open with all releases still as there may still be some people who wish to use it, but there will be hardly any support for it. If you wish to contact me any other way than email, the IRC channel for Nefarious IRCu (plus other evilnet projects) is on irc.afternet.org #evilnet

Boxen IRCu 2.10.11.06 Released

BoxenIRCu is an ircd based on Undernet's p10 IRCu. It has been a while since the last release (last may) so as expected the changelog is large. The README file which is on CVS and in the 2.10.11.06 tar file contains the changelog. Here are the main feature additions:

LIST S- shows +s (secret) channels in LIST output for opers.
Realname glines, glining with a $R prefix on the mask will cause a realname gline.
New channel mode +u, allows channel ops to hide quit and part messages when users quit/part.
Oper Levels added in- global/admin/die/set/rehash (credits to ircoderz ircd).
Added channel mode +S, colorstrip.. full credits to NetGamers.org coders.
Added channel mode +T, prevents multi target notices and messages.. once again full credits to NetGamers coders.
Made DNS timeouts configurable and the diagnostics readable, and the overall timeout for DNS and ident configurable.
SVSNICK was requested a while back so people could use the reclaim function in SRVX (http://www.srvx.net), so i have applied Math's SVSNICK patch. I used this patch originally as a basies for my SA commands.
Apply +c and +S channel modes to QUIT.
Add channelmode +N (No Notices).
Allow for timestamp/jupe times in timestamp form aswell as s/m/d/M/y (ie 3d2h1m30s) (credits to thundercity).
Doxyfile added.
Added F:NICKLEN, see readme.features for further information.
epoll(2) support for Linux systems.... read more

READ BEFORE SEEKING HELP

Dont ask for help on boxen ircu on undernet in #coder-com. The offical and only help channel for boxen ircu is on irc.linux-boxen.org #ircd. The #coder-com people on undernet do not like it when people come in asking for help on another ircd. They only support undernet-ircu and gnuworld... not boxenircu. So please once again dont ask for help in #coder-com on undernet, use irc.linux-boxen.org #ircd. Thank You
