#1 Segmentation fault when merging bookmark files

Running bookmarksync with the default bookmarks.html
from the Firefox and Mozilla directories worked fine
for me. Trying with my own files produces segmentation
faults. Is it possible that this has to do with mixed
German/French/Portuguese and Japanese characters in the
link descriptions?
