Because my website only serves at port 443, it would be
very helpfull if the client supports https as a server.
This is offcourse much more secure.

    There have also been some reports that oddness (or just plain old
    failures) happens when the client uses any port number number (:
    xx), a raw IP address (as opposed to a domain name), and
    possibly a tilde (as in ~user).

    This would be a great if we could choose the port number my
    isp blocks port 80 by default and I use 8080. Was able to set
    everything up but it would not work unless I set my IIS to
    port 80.
