Album art browser opens in background
Audio converter and CD ripper for various formats

Running Linux Mint 18.1 Mate, freac 20161129.
Not a huge bug, but the album art selector opens in the background after the first 'session'. That is, say I use the tagging to select an album art for a particular CD I am ripping. I proceed to rip the cd, done. Put in next CD, to repeat the ripping process. Now try to select a new album art, the window opens in the background. If I quit the application and re open it, it works fine for the first try, and then back to the usual.

Thank you for reporting this!
I can reproduce the issue on every Linux distribution I tried, but do not have a fix for it, yet.
The file open dialog appears in background whenever I switched to fre:ac from another application before opening it. Then, when closing and opening it again, it keeps appearing in the foreground until I switch to another application and back to fre:ac.
The problem here seems to be that the fre:ac window is not a GTK+ window, but the file open dialog is. The window manager seems to have a problem associating the dialog with fre:ac in some cases.
I'll try to find a fix, but it will probably take some more time.
