I'm new to bonding and would like to know whether the following scenario with HA in mind is possible with this bonding driver:
- several linux hosts
- each host with 2 NICs, round robin bonded
- each NIC connected to 2 separate switches
- switches are not interconnected
- each host arp_monitors all others
- if a host's NIC fails all other host "mark" this NIC as "unreacheable" but continue to send via their other NIC to the impaired host's second NIC
Is this behavior supported?
