We've been running bods with the software on one server and the database = on another for some time now. Tomcat 5, Bod 2.8 (modified), Postgresql 7.4, both machines running Solaris 8. Seems fine. Also done a Solaris/OSX = split. I've run it with Postgresql 8, but only under Windoze.
