Microsoft would argue that you could use Web = Edition, which does not require CALs, for such non-Microsoft apps. = However, it won't allow useful things like SQL Server to install, which = rather limits your options. WIMP applications (Windows/IIS/MySQL/PHP) = apps are possible on Web edition, but not WISP (Windows/IIS/SQL = Server/PHP or whatever). - Peter |
