To support the implementation and further development of our e-=20 learning provision we have created a number of new positions within =20 the e-campus team based at Moray College, Elgin Software Development Manager =A330,307 - =A335,135 per annum As Software Development Manager you will manage the e-learning =20 infrastructure software release programme and coordinate the =20 development and maintenance of applications, services and interfaces =20 within our modular, distributed, open e-learning architecture. You will be a graduate who combines substantial experience of =20 managing software development projects, preferably in an e-learning =20 context with the organisational, interpersonal and communication =20 skills needed to undertake this important role within the UHI network. Software Engineer =A325,382 - =A329,425 per annum Your principal role will be to provide software engineering =20 development services to enable the continued integration and =20 development of UHI=92s e-learning environment. Educated to degree level you=92ll have several years experience in =20 software engineering with substantial Java experience, together with =20 the necessary organisational and interpersonal skills needed to work =20 across the network and to interact well with staff at all levels =20 within UHI. Two positions are available one permanent the other until October 2008. Instructional Designer =A325,382 - =A329,425 per annum Working with the e-learning team and academic staff across the UHI =20 network, you will identify the need for, develop and deliver online =20 instructional materials and activities that are functional, =20 intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional =20 design principles. Ideally, you will be you will be educated to degree level or =20 equivalent and will have a good understanding of recent developments =20 in e-learning in higher education and the development of learning =20 technologies as well as an understanding of its benefits and =20 limitations.
