HEAD and the bodington_2_8 are currently equivalent, so does that mean we should:

[*] move the bodington_2_9_0 tag to represent the point on HEAD at which the 
bodington_2_8 branch was formed?
[*] rename the 'Root_branch_2_8' tag to 'bodington_2_8_0' to represent the root 
/ base of the bodington_2_8 branch?

I'm not quite sure what our policy is regarding tagging the root of a branch!
