claims 1 and 36. look like IMS Learning Design. the BB | IMS 
relationship is clearly a conflict of interests

claims 1 and 36. look like any old groupware re-branded a learning space 
rather than a workspace, but essentially groupware all the same, think 
knowledge base, think information system

claims 1 and 36. are derivative of any other server / network centric 
project / task management system, look at project central or dotproject 
which could easily be derived in part to provide the core of this claim.

claims 1 and 36. claim the use of a network to allow users to role play, 
hmm isn't this the very nature of online communities, see yahoo games 
and many others

claims 1 and 36. seem to imply that other prior art using the exact same 
technologies do not take precedence because they are not methods of 
"learning" according to US patent thinking and furthermore seem to imply 
that learning on line is only learning if its via some such claim of 
system branded a "learning" system. by their very nature we cannot help 
but learn via the majority of on line user based systems even if we are 
merely gaining experience and know how we are in fact learning again 
think inform... think information system

the fact the patent has in part been granted serves only to expose the 
inadequacy of the patent community which granted it any claim whatsoever 
lets hope the UK and EU communities reject this for what it is, mutton 
dressed as lamb.

they will be patenting the use of cars next as distance navigation 
systems because prior inventions only provided a means to get from a to b
