They don't work either, if you try and download the generated files they 
will fail. Eg:

  http://server/bodington/site/bs_generated_menu.xml

It does pickup the setting it just seems to be using it incorrectly.

Are you sure you have files/generated working outside the context in any 
version of Bodington?
