Congratulations to TReXC on starting to code! I take it the XP group hugs and pair bonding phase must be complete. All phases of SOCKET are on target and the codebase is taking shape on our internal CVS suppository. WSDL to WAR is go! Network re-configuration and tooling-up has kept us busy for a couple of weeks, but we're back on the wire. Our new Dell 2850 - "The Beast" - is ready to spit fire. We have an IIS server up ready to load Perception. The servlet factory is just about to produce. We've got a nice servlet filter/XSLT presentation layer on the bubble. We have about 39 sample services for rpc-style testing. A periodic table application is waiting for the document-style testing. A JSF/Spring/Hibernate admin app using Matt Raible's superb Equinox 1.2 is well underway. We're shoving Apache Derby on jUDDI's rear end (ooh err, missus) for maximum portability. And as I recently blogged, Bodington is about to go under the knife. All this will filter through to the blog eventually. Best regards, Brian |
