It's going to be difficult enough working out how to test, and then there's the bug fixing! Release candidate sounds like a good idea to me. As I've said, releasing a bad build, that everyone's been waiting for, is a bad idea even from a marketing perspective... (release candidate doesn't solve UHI's deploying 2.6 in mid Aug though...)
