Ah, right - thanks. I forgot that I always blank out the sign applets 
bit.  

This person is getting the java 1.4 requirement on 
wunlearn.leeds.ac.uk, the version number of which I am higgerant. 
I'll say that the problem will disappear in new shiny bods.
