Good point - I'd mislaid the fact that the immediate driver for
conversion is i18n.  Thanks for the timely reminder.

Personal opinion: It's worth continuing to bat around how one would
migrate to JSP in the background, but we should note that it's a
background activity for possible incorporation into a future version.
