Similarly we need view only access to resources that are graphics - we wouldn't want people to be able to see a large filestore, we want the graphics to appear in the relevant page. They can see what modules are available, but not get into them. They get a feel for what the VLE is like and then they can apply for details or download them from an area that they do have access to. Denying them see would leave a very empty-looking area. Also, I have some areas where I need view but not see for some months while an applet gathers data. I then open them up with see later.
