I think this is correct:

see = the link to the resource, in it's parent, is visible but isn't 
clickable
no see = the link is invisible
view = the link to the resource, in it's parent, is visible and 
clickable
no view  = the link to the resource, in it's parent, is visible, 
italicised and not clickable

can we bin see? it's very confusing.

IMHO if a resource is not to be viewed (accessed) then it's link should 
be invisible. Why have a load of resource names that you can't click 
on?
