Summary: Disappearing and reappearing files in rooms

Initial Comment:
We've had a numerous of instances where uploaded files
are not appearing in rooms as they should.  A quick
check of the "manage uploaded files" screen confims
that the files are there.   When we return to the room
itself, the files sometimes appear (as you would expect
in a normal functioning room) and other times they only
appear when we press 'refresh'.

Sometimes this extends and no amount of 'refresh'ing
will make the files appear.  The uploaded files are
there and the java applet has not been used to create
the menu but the files will just not display on the
page.  We have made them appear by undeleting a
previously deleted file (when one is available) - when
we return to the room, the files all appear as normal
and we can go back into "manage uploaded files" to
delete the temporarily restored file.

As far as we know this problem has been resolved in work
done on the Uploaded Files code, and it hasn't been reported
again (although there is some evidence that if the file
management applet has been used to create a custom menu, it
isn't necessarily updated when more files are added via the
non-applet file management interface.)
