You can look it up in the source ode for the SetupServlet. There's also a plain text file with a password in it at webapps/bodington/WEB-INF/adminpw.txt, but that might be the sysadmin password. (You need to delete that file once you're up and running.) You might also be interested in the version of Bodington that is currently still running at University of Oxford (but now replaced with Sakai). Category: general Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Louisa Parry (louisaparry) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Disappearing and reappearing files in rooms Initial Comment: We've had a numerous of instances where uploaded files are not appearing in rooms as they should. A quick check of the "manage uploaded files" screen confims that the files are there. When we return to the room itself, the files sometimes appear (as you would expect in a normal functioning room) and other times they only appear when we press 'refresh'. Sometimes this extends and no amount of 'refresh'ing will make the files appear. The uploaded files are there and the java applet has not been used to create the menu but the files will just not display on the page. We have made them appear by undeleting a previously deleted file (when one is available) - when we return to the room, the files all appear as normal and we can go back into "manage uploaded files" to delete the temporarily restored file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Colin Tatham (colin_tatham) Date: 2006-09-21 14:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=519419 As far as we know this problem has been resolved in work done on the Uploaded Files code, and it hasn't been reported again (although there is some evidence that if the file management applet has been used to create a custom menu, it isn't necessarily updated when more files are added via the non-applet file management interface.) Closing ticket. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Matthew Buckett (thick_sliced) Date: 2005-03-15 16:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1170350 Can you reproduce this bug? Category: Installation Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Administrators guide? Initial Comment: Hey, I have installed rc4 succesfully on debian, tested it and now I am stareting to build a live environment. I have not been able to find practically any documentation on administering the system. Althought the system is pretty self-explanatory I have run into problems with two things: 1. How to deploy zones and when are they needed? Are there tools to deploying zones? 2. Is there a simple way/tool to add users to groups. I have used grant access from containers properties, but that doesn't seem like to be the right way? -Mika Spåra mika.sparaATedu.hel.fi ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Sean Mehan (seanskye) Date: 2005-11-09 11:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1037001 Zones are no longer needed. There is not a simple way other than the tool that you have already found. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=583929&aid=939064&group_id=87659 |
