Just curious. I keep hearing mention of I2 Guard. AFAIK there is no I2 Guard. Guard is a Guanxi entity that doesn't have a parallel in the I2 implementation. Has anyone seen anything to the contrary? Do I2 have a distributed Java S= P now? --=20 Alistair Young Senior Software Engineer UHI@Sabhal M=F2r Ostaig Isle of Skye Scotland |

afaik I2 are not even supporting the standard java SP... that was the jist of last advisory we read i think they have done some work on making the C code easier to compile on things other than windows, but i don't want to go there again :( Alistair Young wrote: >Just curious. It strikes me that there is a massive 'market' out there for GuanXi - our problem is getting people to realise this fact! It's the familiar case of 'something crap from a large organisation' is considered superior to 'something good for a small organisation'. And how you get around this without a large market budget is the tricky bit. Is it worth asking OSSWatch for advice? adam | -----Original Message----- | From: bod...@li... | [mailto:bod...@li...] On Behalf Of | Selwyn Lloyd | Sent: 07 June 2006 12:28 | To: ali...@sm...; Bodington developers | Subject: Re: [Bodington-developers] bod sp + guard | | afaik I2 are not even supporting the standard java SP... that was the | jist of last advisory we read | i think they have done some work on making the C code easier to compile | on things other than windows, but i don't want to go there again :( | | Alistair Young wrote: | | >Just curious. Anna and I did Avesbury to Didcot (not on path) in 4 days camping each night. yes I'd like to camp but I thought Albion's plain was awash with stick wielding landowners - or has CROW changed all that? I prefer wild camping on the tops. --=20 Alistair Young Senior Software Engineer UHI@Sabhal M=F2r Ostaig Isle of Skye Scotland > Alistair Young wrote: >>> Is it >>> worth asking OSSWatch for advice? >> prolly - any chance you could nip down the corridor Adam?
