Hadn't really given it much thought, just wanted to flag it really.
From a quick look at the JavaDoc it seems that ResourceBundles can have
parents which are also checked for the key.
Could we have a higher level file called:
res.templates
that is the parent of files like:
res.templates.default.useroptions.strings
and contains the generic strings?

That seems sensible.
