Does anyone know why you can access Bodington through /site and /opensite? Also why there is the bodington property buildingservlet.openservlet ? -- +--Matthew Buckett-----------------------------------------+ | VLE Developer, Learning Technologies Group | | Tel: +44 (0) 1865 283660 http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/ | +------------Computing Services, University of Oxford------+ |

Before we moved to cookie-based authentication, it was possible to allow anonymous access to Bodington directly without any challenge (even pressing the guest button). Jon decided to keep this anonymous access completely separate by running it as a separate servlet. Again, I think it is a hangover from ealier days and can probably go. Thanks for the explanation. I'm probably going to pull this out then as it makes removing the dependancy on know the hostname easier to deal with. -- +--Matthew Buckett-----------------------------------------+ | VLE Developer, Learning Technologies Group | | Tel: +44 (0) 1865 283660 http://www.oucs.ox.ac.uk/ | +------------Computing Services, University of Oxford------+ |
