This has been asked in the mailing list. I'm not really
interested, but other people might be. Should we propose to host the new CPUs code in our source tree, or should we let people fork ?"

Forks are absolute incarnation of evil. This message is a request of some prepared empty dirs, stub files and guidelines, helping us to add that CPU/OS support.
ARM/Symbian first, if possible.

I have no problem in general with supporting other archs in Bochs sources tree.
And I even can set up, say, MIPS CPU engine emulation in reasonable time. But Bochs is a fuill system emulator and without system devices MIPS CPU alone isn't worth too much.
I am not an expert in the devices emulation and do not have intention to copy QEMU code into Bochs by myself ...
You could call for help in Bochs mailing list !
