#230 Processor Usage Restrictions

Hello,

It would be very useful, and muchly appreciated if
there was the capability to set a max processor usage
for the bochs processor - e.g. in the configuartion set
an option so that bochs can not consume more than a
certain percentage of the processor, e.g. 80% or something.

Just my two cents ...

A limitation of the host cpu usage is very platform-dependant, but you can use the slowdown timer in combination with an acceptable ips value to reduce the cpu load.
