Hi! I just installed and configured Bochs(2.0.2), and I downloaded the NetBSD img and it worked. I am using Mac OS X, and when I configure Bochs to boot cd, and use my harddrive image I created with Bochs, I get an error when booting my SuSE Linux 8.2 Professional CD:
BIOS panic at rombios.c, line 1563
Then, in the actual screen that I would be emulating Linux in, it says:
CDROM boot failure 0002
boot from CD-rom failed
FATAL: could not read the boot disk
This CD works with Virtual PC 6, why not now?

Hi,
As the problem seems to be consistant, I can only imagine it's possibly the boch's BIOS. More diectly, I think it would be the incomplete El-Torito boot strap. As there usually seems to be more problems than fixes, I can image complaining would accomplish little.
As a work-around, booting from a floppy would work.
