The lines you mention are all inactive or passive, so I can't even guess at what is wrong. I've never run bobs on php 5 so I've never had those problems. I might be able to help if you include more details of the error messages. Cheers Rene |

Yeah, $results should have been removed. It doesn't do any harm so I haven't fixed it in cvs. $result was used before templates were used in BOBS. Cheers Rene |

You hit the 4 GB size limit for stat. Files larger than that will have 0 as their size. Nothing too important but nice to know if you are using the interface to search for large files. Not sure about the other one. My file is patched so line 221 is a comment. Take a look at the line and see if anything obvious comes up. I've seen that every time I start a backup by hand, but I've never gotten around to investigating what causes it or how to get rid of it. You can pipe the output of the cron job to /dev/null if you don't want th= e messages or you can fix the code :) Cheers Rene |

Jochen, Thanks for the reply. Running backup.php returns the error message, but still backs up the first server in the list, as defined by the html interface. How do I go about fixing this short of recompiling php or wiping the server and using a different version? Is there a php.ini setting that I can edit and make this work? I know there is a zend_compatability mode. ddh -- Dwayne Hottinger Network Administrator Harrisonburg City Public Schools -- Dwayne Hottinger Network Administrator Harrisonburg City Public Schools |

So it might be a problem that your php-version does not support db2 db3 or ;o) even better: your cli-version of php on the commandline does not support it. that will be the reason (assuming ;o)) that it works on html - interface bu= t=20 not on commandline. Hello all, I have gotten bobs up and running on Fedora Core 5, php5.x mysql 5. and apache 2.x. Backups work fine if I manually start them from the BOBS html interface. No problems at all. Im using rsycn overssh. However, the cron schedular backups the first server in the list then dies with an error message which I recieve via email from the server: PHP Notice: Undefined index: where in /var/www/html/bobs/inc/class_db.php on line 34. No error in bobs.log. Just where it backed up the first server in the list. thanks, ddh -- Dwayne Hottinger Network Administrator Harrisonburg City Public Schools |

Here's a fix until I can update CVS. Modify inc/class_cleanup.php Change this line (near the top): $this->old_date = date("Y", $old_stamp) . '.' . date("z", $old_stamp); To this: $this->old_date = date("Y", $old_stamp) . '.' . sprintf("%03d", date("z", $old_stamp)); Joe Joe Zacky wrote: > Oh my...you are SO right!
