Just for the sake of completeness, I found another bug/error...

When you click on Preferences > Source > HTML (or try to edit a Zope DTML
Document), you get an error

.....
NameError: name 'wxSTC_HPHP_STRINGEOL' is not defined

Editing the file stc-styles.rc.cfg and removing that entry seems to have
fixed it
